The Local Church

Praise Him

When I was a teenager I was saved. I hardly went to church and continued to search for a place to worship after I received the Lord.

A childhood friend told me of a place to meet. I went to a meeting of the church in Wichita a few times. Gradually, my wife and I were captivated by the Word. My wife was saved and baptized and I was baptized. In 1991 we chose to meet with the church in Wichita. We were born and raised in Wichita so it is a blessing to have a meeting hall here.

I am always thankful that there is a local church in Wichita. I think that without the church in Wichita we probably would never know the Lord in the deep intimate way that we know him today.
